This map template uses four distinct views - Logical, Sequence, Physical and Deployment - to capture different architectural aspects of a software system in an architectural description. The template can be used to cover and entire system, or it can applied to specific pieces of a system. An Organizational Irritant blog post provides an example of the template's use in a sample problem, together with Requirements, Design, Test and Implementation content.
