The Mindjet Labs

Hi,

 I recently purchased MM7 and unfortunately our company bespoke web export templates won't run.  Whenever I try and run a web export I get the message that

"an error occured while trying to acces the macro c:\users........EndExport.mmbas Please check that the macro is valid"

 Unfortunatly Mindjet are unable to help but I guess this may be a five minute job for someone who knows what they're doing?  It's proving to be really inconvenient not being able to do web exports so I'd really appreciate anyone who may be able to help.

My name is Michael Millette and I am no "Techy" so I'm afraid I can't help you with your problem but I want to see you helped.  I'm in sales for Mindjet and was just checking MJ Labs for any recent posts and came accross yours.

I'm assuming you contacted our Tech Support already but if you haven't....call 877-646-3538 and follow the prompts for Tech Support.

Also, I want to direct you to Mindjet's Blog.  It gets a lot more traffic and you might try posting your question there as well.

 I did of course try your tech support but they were not prepared to help as the export templates "are not part of a standard installation".  I'll give the blog a go and hopefully that'll help me get a resolution.

Hmmmm....followed your link to the blog.  Couldn't find anywhere on the blog where I could post my question so tried searching for "web export templates" to see if I could find any related posts...the search returned one post relating to the impending release of Mind Manager version 5....doh!

 Thanks for the suggestion Michael but I suspect tha my days with Mind Manager 7 are somewhat limted!

Chris I have just encountered the same problem with MindManager 7 Pro version 7.1.394.  It was working before.  Web exporting from MindManager is is my key tool for publishing content on the web.

Running Control Panel > Programs > MindManager > Repair did not fix it.

I was surprised by the comment Web Exports are not part of the standard.  They have been in every version of MindManager I have used for the last 10 years.  The process changed in MindManager X5 and the export templates in one version do not work in later versions :( but its installed with MindManager every time.

 If I find a solution I will post it.
