This macro counts the words in selected Topic(s), associated Notes, and also for SubTopics and their notes. Places the result in the Resources attribute. I use this in writing a book manuscript, to keep track of the length of chapters and subchapters. (based on Word Count by D.E. Thomas)

This is a small macro to count the words carried by the Notes property of selected Topics in a MindManager MindMap.  Install the macro to a menu, say Tools.  Select the Topics having the Notes you wish to count, then invoke the macro.  A message box is displayed for each selected topic, this message box provides the Topic title text ...

This is a small example macro how to set some of the topic properties (text, notes and attachments) to ReadOnly. Include this macro e.g. in the topic context menu and you can set/remove the ReadOnly flag with one mouse click.
